Directs for expediting the pace of work

BUDGAM, JULY 28: The District Development Commissioner, (DDC) Budgam, Shahbaz Ahmed Mirza today chaired a meeting to review detailed sector wise status of works and projects under District Capex Budget.

At the outset, the DDC stressed the completion of all pending works in time and ensure expenditure on time.

The DDC was apprised about the current status of projects and expenditure made so far. He stressed on completion of works on all projects in a time bound manner.

He directed officers that work on all the ongoing projects be expedited and the tendering and re-tendering process of pending works is carried out without delay for early execution and completion. He also directed the concerned to make expenditure as per progress of ongoing works by 31st July 2022.

The concerned were directed to ensure completion of all pending estimation of works before 31st July.

While giving the details, Joint Director Planning informed the meeting that Rs 47.43 Cr was released so far. It was also informed that 2025 works were targeted for the Financial Year, 1852 were administratively approved, 1699 were tendered and 1337 are allotted so far.

Among others, the meeting was attended by ACD, CEO, CMO, Chief Agriculture Officer, ACP, all Ex. Engineers of all sectors, All AEE’s, all BDOs, all EO of MCs, and all sectoral Officers and other concerned.
