POONCH, JULY 21: District Development Commissioner Poonch, Inder Jeet held a public grievance redressal camp at Block Mankote under the Block Diwas program.

Various issues were raised by PRI members and locals, including augmentation of water and power supply, construction of Ucchad to Timba road, BADP road in Chajjla Upper, Construction of Mankote upper road, Balnoi Road, Ramkund to Shera road, Tattapani road,  Panchayat ghar for Ari, science teacher for H.S Ghani Lower, adequate staff of HS Chajjla, functional water lift scheme in Kalabann Upper, Hand Pump for Chajjla Upper, Payment of MGNREGA, bunkers for Mankote upper, telecommunication issues, Borewell for HS Sagra  and various other issues related to their area were discussed.

The DC gave a patient hearing to the issues raised during the meeting and assured them of early  redressal of all their demands.

  He issued on the spot instructions to the concerned officers for fast track completion of all languishing and ongoing projects, especially projects catering to rural development, health and basic amenities.

Later, the Deputy Commissioner inaugurated a 11KVA separate feeder at Mankote receiving station which will cover 7 Panchayats.

 He appealed to people and PRIs to cooperate with the administration to achieve the new heights in terms of development in the district and stressed for making the best use of funds provided to each Panchayat.
