21 June2022, Shalateng. Remarking Yoga as an addition of energy, strength and beauty to the body, mind and soul, Maj Gen S S Slaria, General Officer Commanding, Counter Insurgency Force (Kilo) and all ranks celebrated International Yoga Day at Shalateng Military Garrison.
Enjoying the gratification of a serene weather, the Kilo Force warriors in consonance with the nation performed Yoga Asanas to purify their mind and soul. The troops followed the Prime Minister as Shri Narender Modi led the Yoga Day celebrations from Mysuru Palace grounds in Karnataka.
On culmination of the event, GOC, Counter Insurgency Force (Kilo) propagated a message to the mass and youth of Kashmir urging them to adopt the noble practice of Yoga as a way of life to create inner serenity and harmony.
