Rafiabad : In an unfortunate road mishap two persons lost their lives while one sustained serious injuries in north Kashmir’s Rafiabad on Tuesday evening.
Reports said an accident took place on Handwara-Baramulla highway at Trekpora crossing when a speedy tata sumo hit with a motorcycle resulting on spot death of two persons , while another one sustained serious injured in the mishap.
The injured was immediately taken to nearby hospital where doctors refered him Srinagar medical institution for advanced treatment.
Meanwhile, a police officer confirmed this road mishap and identified both deceased as Ajaz Ahmad khan son of Manzoor Ahmad khan of Khamoha Rafiabad and Danish Nabi Sheikh son of Gh Nabi sheikh of Pathoosa Rafiabad, while the injured was identified as Adil Bhat son of Gh Mohd of Pathoosa.
The officer said a case in this regard has been registered and further investigation has set into motion
