In order to provide counseling and information to the students of North Kashmir about various higher education options available in the leading colleges across India, the Indian Army organized an “EDUCATION FEST” at Govt Boys Higher Secondary School, Handwara on 18th of May, 2022.
In this event, over 17 colleges from Punjab, Chandigarh, and Himachal Pradesh participated and guided the youth to select the right courses to achieve their dreams. The same has proved to be very knowledge and helpful for the students of North Kashmir.
The event was graced Brig Vikrant Patil, SM, VSM, as also Mr. Pandit Puri, Chairman DDC, DC Kupwara, and Chief Education Officer, Kupwara.
The students displayed great response to the fest and approximately 5000 students participated, took guidance and were very excited to see so many career options which they were not aware of earlier. Such an effort of Indian Army will help the youth channel their efforts towards achieving their goals in life by choosing the right path in life. Students in Kashmir students are looking forward to more such interactive programs in the future.
