As part of Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav celebrations, Power Finance Corporation Ltd, New Delhi, the country’s leading NBFC in the power sector organized ‘Certificate Distribution Ceremony’ under its Skill Development Training initiative at Baramulla, Bandipora and Sopore. The event at Baramulla was attended by Shri Rizwanur Rahman, Executive Director (PR & CSR), PFC along with other senior officials from National Skill Development Corporation & implementing agency viz ITRC Technologies Private Limited .
The ceremony started with a cultural event and culminated with the distribution of certificates to the eligible candidates. A total of 3626 students have been successfully trained in various courses of information technology, apparel, beauty & wellness sectors.
PFC has been funding and driving the Skill Development programme for the unemployed youth including women in states like Andhra Paresh, Telangana, Orissa, Tamil Nadu etc. As India’s leading the public sector enterprise in the NBFC space, PFC is committed to ensure job oriented skill development programs for the youth in various parts of the nation.
