JKPCC asked to commission STP in GMC Hospital
DODA, MAY 18: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Doda Dr. Ravi Kumar Bharti today reviewed the implementation of the District Environment Plan, here at a meeting of the District Environment Committee.
Threadbare discussion was held regarding action taken on execution of DEP in the district by different departments, which include Solid Waste management, Plastic waste management, E- waste management, forest conservation and afforestation, Bio-medical Waste Management, Domestic Sewage Management and Water Waste Management etc.
The ADC directed the Committee members to take serious note of directions issued and attend the monthly meetings, in person, without fail.
The ADDC asked executing agencies (JKPCC) for immediate commissioning of the Sewage Treatment Plant at Associated Hospital of GMC Doda and handing over the same to the hospital authorities.
Regarding water conservation, the ADC directed all the stakeholders to ensure that the water bodies are not exposed to pollution in the District. The District Industries Centre Doda was asked to ensure that no industrial waste is thrown directly into water bodies.
The meeting was attended by Divisional Officer PCC Doda, MS-AH GMC Doda, DIO Doda, AEE PDD Doda, IPO DIC Doda, District Manager KVIB Doda and other concerned officials.
