A Medical camp was organized by *Indian Army* in conjunction with *Borderless World Foundation* (headquartered at *Pune*) at *Behnipura* as a unique gesture to alleviate hardships of local populace from remote areas. Indian Army alongwith the Civil administration came together with the NGO and shared resources to conduct a medical and health check up camp for local people of *Behnipura, Lachhampura, Sarmarg and Satkoji Panchayats*.
The camp is being organized at *PHC, Behnipura* wherein *02 Gynaecologist, 02 Dental Specialists, 01 Orthopaedician, 02 Eye Specialists and 02 Medical Specialists, 01 Paediatrician, 01 Counsellor and 01 Homeopathy Consultant* from Borderless World Foundation and *01 Medical Officer* from Indian Army is working tirelessly on 18 May 2022 to provide medical support to the villagers. A total of *406 Patients* have registered and got themselves checked by *1400 hr*, and still more villagers are coming for the medical check up. Besides routine medical checkup, special emphasis is being laid on screening people in vulnerable age groups for life style diseases.
Specialist advise and awareness drive on COVID, AIDS, Family planning and immunisation was also imparted during the interaction. Community leaders expressed their satisfaction and happiness over the initiative taken by Indian Army and the NGO.
