Gulshan Cultural Forum Kashmir and Bazm-e-Sheereen Kawoosa organized a prestigious literary and cultural conference

Last night, Gulshan Cultural Forum Kashmir and Bazm-e-sheereen Kawoosa Khalisa jointly organized prestigious literary and cultural conference at the premises of renowned shrine Baba Payamuddin Reshi Tangmarg. The conference, which was attended by writers, poets and intellectuals, had a significant number of visitors. The conference was presided over by renowned Sufi poet and patron of Bazm-e-Sheereen Kawoosa, Sheikh Ghulam Rasool alias Lassa Sahib while renowned writer, poet, writer and cultural activist Gulshan Badrani was present in the conference as special guest. Khursheed Khamosh, Gulshan Badrani Maqbool Sheida and Sheikh Ghulam Rasool presented speeches and dissertations on the topic “Kashmiri Cultural Traditions and Sufism” at the conference on which many scholars expressed their views. Along with many leading poets, Naat reciters also had the privilege of reviting Naat. The conference began with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an. Muhammad Saleem Shah was blessed with the recitation of the Holy Quran. Here Mohammad Ashraf and his colleagues created a spiritual atmosphere in the audience with their art. Other personalities and poets present at the conference include Mohammad Imran Sopuri, Abdul Majeed Kanihami, Latif Niyazi, Bashir Ahmed Trape, Mir Ghulam Rasool, Mohammad Yousuf Lone. Ghulam Qadir Khag, Maqbool Shaida, Khurshid Khamosh and Gulshan Badrani.
