DC Shopian reviews progress of Registration under PMJAY-SEHAT

SHOPIAN, MAY 09: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Sachin Kumar Vaishya today chaired a meeting to review the progress of registration of beneficiaries under Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana- SEHAT Scheme (AB-PMJAY-SEHAT) and generation of Golden Cards in the district.

On the occasion, threadbare deliberations were held on present status and achievements made under AB-PMJAY-SEHAT in Shopian.

The meeting also discussed in detail the modalities for speeding up the registration for SEHAT scheme and directions were passed on to all the concerned to redouble efforts to achieve 100 percent target of registration of beneficiaries under the scheme in the district.

The meeting was informed that the registration process is going on expeditiously and efforts are on to achieve the required target well in time. It was also informed that 87 percent beneficiary target cards have been generated so far.

DC stressed for undertaking prompt registration process of all left out population to ensure cent percent target is achieved within specified time in the district.

DC directed the concerned to deploy Patwaries, Anganwadi Workers and Ashas for the purpose of house to house survey and motivating the pending beneficiaries for registration. He called for coordinated efforts in expanding the ambit of SEHAT scheme so that all the eligible persons of Shopian are benefitted.

Among others, the meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Shopian, Mushtaq Ahmed Simnani, SDM Zainapora Mushtaq Ahmad, Dy. CMO, all Tehsildars, AD, FCS&CA, District Coordinator CSC and other concerned officers and officials.
