DDC Rajouri reviews implementation of Rural Development schemes

RAJOURI, MAY 05: District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal today chaired a meeting to review the progress made under different Rural Development schemes being implemented in the district here at a meeting of the Department.

Officers present in the meeting included ACD, Vijay Kumar; CPO, Mohammad Khurshid and Block Development Officers

During the meeting, the DDC took detailed feedback from the concerned officers regarding the status of different schemes being implemented in the district. He also reviewed the status of the area development plan finalised recently, MGNREGA plan and     holding of gram sabhas etc.

Speaking at the meeting, the DDC asked the department to make dedicated efforts for effective implementation of the schemes on ground level so that the benefits reach to the public. He also inquired about the holding of Gram Sabhas from the concerned BDOs.

The DDC also stressed upon the officers to work in coordination with the PRI members for effective implementation of the schemes and to meet the expectations of the rural population.

Underlining the need to resolve the developmental issues in time, he directed for removing bottlenecks, if any, to avoid delay in the execution of the projects.

The DDC also emphasized on the need for interdepartmental coordination for achieving the desired outcomes on the developmental front.
