AYUSH Kishtwar conducts medical outreach camps

KISHTWAR, APRIL 30: As per directions of the Director AYUSH J&K Dr. Mohan Singh and under the overall supervision of District Development Commissioner Kishtwar Ashok Sharma , the Department of AYUSH Kishtwar has conducted number of camps during this week to mark the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebration by extending the health facilities of different nature at the door step of people through various camps across the District.

These camps which includes outreach medical health check-up cum awareness camps, school health camps, immunity distribution camps were organised in District Kishtwar under the guidance of District Nodal officer AYUSH Kishtwar Dr. Taraq Hussain.

A school health check-up and awareness camp was today organised by Dr. Prince Gupta at Sangrambhatta wherein about 130 students were properly examined and immunity booster kits along with healthy lifestyle adoption regimes were advised to the students.

Besides, a medical outreach camp was organised by Dr. Monika Sharma at township of Kishtwar where all the patients were examined and immunity booster medicines were distributed among them.

Similar outreach cum immunity booster camps were hosted under respective Medical officers at different AYUSH Dispensaries in different far flung areas likewise Paddar, Bounjwah etc during this week which focused primarily to increase the health awareness among the general public.
