DDC Kulgam reviews details of works proposed under District Capex Budget 2022-23

KULGAM, APRIL 26: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kulgam, Dr Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat today chaired a meeting of officers to review the details of various works proposed under District Capex for the current financial year.

During the meeting it was given out that under the Regular component there are a total of 87 works which includes 48 new works and 39 ongoing works whereas, under BDC grants, a total of 94 new works are in plan, out of which 90 works pertain to RDD.

Under DDC grants there are a total of 265 new works in plan and 160 pertain to RDD, 82 to PDD and 12 to YSS.

Under Panchayat grants there are 1692 new approved works out of which 1494 pertains to RDD, 140 PDD, 08 tourism, 18 elementary education, 06 health and other departments including Irrigation, R&B, PHE.

The DDC asked concerned officers to prioritize formulation of estimates to get early administrative approval so that works can be executed properly.

He instructed that all line departments shall ensure to get the work done in due time by executing agencies.

The meeting was attended by ADC, ACD, CPO, Ex. Engineer REW, PHE, R&B besides CEO, CMO and other officers.
