ADDC Jammu reviews saturation of KCC scheme

JAMMU, APRIL, 26: The Special District Consultative Committee today reviewed the saturation of KCC scheme here at its meeting chaired by Additional District Development Commissioner Ramesh Chander here in the DC office.

The meeting was convened by District Lead Manager Ramesh Raina in respect of Kissan Bhagidari, Prathmikta Hamari- A sprint campaign of KCC saturation drive. Threadbare discussion was also held regarding other government sponsored schemes including PM SVANidhi,  Atal Pension Yojna, PM Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojna, PMMY, PM Suraksha Bima Yojana, PM Fasal Bima Yojana etc.

The ADDC asked the Banks to clear all the pending loan applications available at their respective branches. He directed field staff of Agriculture Department to source more and more applications with regard to KCC with the support of PRI members and encourage the farmers to avail  KCC limit offering huge benefits like low interest and no end use certification.

He also asked to cover all the KCC holders under social security schemes like PMSBY, PMJJBY, PMJDY, APY etc.

The meeting was attended by DDM NABARD Sanjeev Sharma and all major public sector banks and district heads of Agriculture, Sheep Husbandry and Animal Husbandry Departments.
