SDM tours Hajin town, inspects ongoing works

BANDIPORA, MARCH 24: The Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Sumbal, Dr Bashir Ahmad Lone Wednesday visited Hajin town to review the ongoing developmental works.

During the visit, SDM inspected the construction work of a parking lodge, three-lane Kanyari Bund, Gulabwari Flood Channel and Naidkhai Bridge. Officers informed the SDM about the progress of works and also discussed the bottlenecks that hinder the progress of work.

SDM directed to remove all the bottlenecks and passed on-spot directions to resolve several matters with regard to the projects. He stressed on the executing agencies to complete the projects at an earliest.

Officers informed that some persons have made obstruction in the execution of work over a land dispute. SDM asked the obstructers, revenue officials and Auqaf body to resolve the dispute amicably and negotiate within three days so that the project can be completed well in time.

The SDM was accompanied by Tehsildar Hajin, Safia Abdullah, Naib Tehsildar and other Revenue officials.
