Project Manager IWMP inspects development works at Dhandal

  UDHAMPUR, MARCH 23:  Project Manager Integrated Water Management Programme (IWMP), Udhampur  Sapna Kotwal  along with field functionaries  today  visited  Dhandal, watershed Batch-V, Barmeen Nallah project and  inspected various developmental works.

  During the visit, the Project Manager also interacted with watershed committee members and inquired about the ongoing works. Watershed Committee members  expressed satisfaction over the protection works aimed  to control soil erosion, protect their land raising water table and    increase agriculture produce.

The   committee members also assured to keep a close check  on these works and maintain them properly. They also appreciated the efforts made by the IWMP department and requested that one water harvesting tank be constructed on the land. Necessary directions were issued to the contractors to   complete the works within the set time frame.

Among others, Dr. Nasir Hafiz, DLTE and WDT members, Rahul Gupta, Arti Malhotra were accompanying the PM IWMP.
