In continuance with the zeal for achieving greater heights in coordination with local, Indian Army has always been at the forefront in maintaining cordial civ military relationship. Living by the standards and expectations, Rashtriya Rifles Battalion under the aegis of Headquarter Counter Insurgency Force (ROMEO) conducted “Chai per Baatcheet with Gujjar & Bakkarwal” at Kulali on 29 Jan 2022. Gujjar and Bakkarwal constitute about 80% population of the total ST population of the state of Jammu and Kashmir with their predominant concentration in the district of Poonch. The aim of this lecture was to create awareness regarding various schemes designed for uplifting the community of Gujjars and Bakkarwals and provide development in respect of Education, Health & Employment of Youth. The event was highly appreciated by the locals and further enhanced the nation building image of Indian Army. A total No __of locals attended the event.
