Coaching Centers Association Kashmir (CCAK) has said that the administration has allowed coaching classes for NEET and JEE/ Civil Services examinations with minimum number of students and maximum adherence to covid appropriate behavior protocol CAB.

The representatives of the CCAK led by its President Hamid Mufti met the DC Srinagar Aijaz Assad and gave a representation appealing to allow the coaching centers with minimum number of students. The worthy DC gave a patient hearing to the delegation and assured them that the coaching centers will be allowed to function in a phased manner.

The delegation was told that the classes for NEET and JEE/ Civil Services examinations with minimum number of students and maximum adherence to CAB protocols could be started after two days. The delegation was also told that the vaccination drive will continue at all the centers till 100% vaccination target is achieved. The other classes like 9,10,11 & 12 will also be allowed to operate post complete vaccination. These classes will start in a couple of weeks for vaccinated students only as it will take them time to develop immunity post vaccination. The DC Srinagar has directed the president of CCAK to constitute its own supervision teams to monitor and report the strict adherence to CAB at all costs.

It was decided that any institution found lax in imposing CAB will be sealed and will be deregistered permanently. The president of CCAK Hamid Mufti was all praise for the DC Srinagar for his personal care and concern for the well being and career development of the youth. Mufti appreciated the efforts of the DC Aijaz Asad, ADC Syed Hanief Balkhi and SDM Owais Mushtaq and the team for personally counseling the students about the importance of vaccination, Covid appropriate behavior CAB and its good impact on the unhindered continuity of the learning process in the educational institutions.

On this occasion the general secretary of CCAK Reyaz Majid appealed the students not to panic but to show patience as all other classes will become functional very soon under the guidance of the administration. However, he added that all this is possible only when all of us including students, teachers, non teaching staff and parents follow the Covid appropriate behavior CAB in letter and spirit. Majid also appealed the hostel dwelling students not to leave in haste but to follow CAB and to attend online classes in the mean while so that no time is wasted.
