ADC Srinagar visits Lal Ded Hospital  Takes first hand appraisal of the new born death incident

SRINAGAR JANUARY 04:- On the directions of the Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Mohammad Aijaz Asad, the Additional Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Dr. Syed Hanief Balkhi today visited Lal Ded Maternity Hospital to have first hand appraisal of the incident that took place at Lal Ded Memorial Hospital in which a new-born baby died due to the delay in the treatment caused by the private security personnel posted at the hospital’s labour room,

Terming the incident a shameful one, the Additional Deputy Commissioner expressed his condolence with the bereaved family of the deceased new born.

While interacting  with the Hospital authorities,  the ADC stressed on taking strict measures to ensure such shameful incidents do not happen in future at the hospital. He emphasized on providing better patient care facilities in the hospital so that patients and their attendants as well do not face any such kind of illegal practice.

The ADC also interacted with the security personnel on duty and asked them to refrain from such practices otherwise be ready to face action as warranted under law.
