Srinagar, 09 November: On the early morning of 09 Nov a Maruti Alto belonging to Hav Mumtaj (101 TA) from Nunwani, skidded off from the road and stuck in trees near BSF Peer Baba, Sarkuli, Kalaroos. An Army Patrol in vicinity from Sarkuli observed this and immediately rushed to incident site.
The team with the help of an Army ALS and villagers around recovered the vehicle. There was no injury reported to individual driving the car.
The villagers were advised to be more cautious especially between Sarkuli and Machhal which has many hairpin curves. The route would be more precarious during forthcoming winters. The Awam was also assured that Indian Army would always be there as first responders for all types of contingencies.
