Ganderbal, Oct 30: A 25-year old shepherd was injured on Saturday evening after he was attacked by a wild bear in Dedrambagh Ganderbal area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district. An official told the news agency that a 25-year-old man identified as Bashir Ahmed Sheikh, son of Gh Nabi Sheikh of Dedrambagh Ganderbal was attacked by a wild bear this evening. The incident took place when the shepherd took his cattle out in the fields for grazing. Reports said the injured was rushed to District Hospital Ganderbal wherefrom he was referred to SKIMS Soura for advanced treatment—(KNO)
