Sanctions ₹62.58 Lakhs in favour of Militancy hit victims

SRINAGAR OCTOBER 09:- Deputy Commissioner/District Magistrate Srinagar, Mohammad Aijaz Asad Saturday chaired a meeting of District Level Screening cum Coordination Committee (DLSCC) to decide cases of militancy affected people here.

During the meeting, total 15 cases of victims of militancy-related incidents came up for discussion and after threadbare deliberations Sanctioned an amount of ₹ 62,58,735 in favour of the NoKs of Militancy victims under Death/Missing/Injured/Damaged and SRO-43 cases of District Srinagar.

Out of 15 cases taken up for discussion, the meeting cleared 12 cases including 8 cases of death, 2 cases of damages and one each case under injury and SRO-43 as per the guidelines laid under Government Order No. Home-228 of 2017, dated 16-03-2017.

Speaking on the occasion, the DC said District Administration Srinagar shall ensure there is nil pendency of such cases requiring immediate relief to the people. He stressed the concerned Officers to ensure speedy disposal of all such cases for timely clearance of the cases.

The meeting was attended by the Additional Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Khurshid Ahmad Shah and other concerned officers.
