The Socio-Political Activist Agha Syed Karar Hashmi visited Khushipora outskirts of Srinagar City were the residents said that the roads were in shambles, giving a tough time to the commuters.
Residents said that the road from abbanShah to HMT had not been magdamised from several years resulting road having ample dotted with potholes at multiple spots. Added that the residents had brought this issue to the notice of the concerned department many times but nothing concrete had materialised after a passage of several years. Couple of years before Khushipora was part of district Budgam and now it is part of district Srinagar. On this pretend we are been ignored from both adminstartive sections of Budgam and Srinagar.
“People of industrial Area of Khushipora HMT had discussed with Social Activist Agha Karar Hashmi all the problems confronting with , locals said that while the concerned departments are indifferent, they are facing immense hardships due to the pathetic condition of the road. Alleged that they have approached Srinagar as well as Budgam administration but nothing have been done yet.”
“There are around 400 houses living in the area and due to the pathetic condition of the roads they are facing immense issues. The administration seems to have forgotten this road, no work has been taken up for the last so many years.” Hashmi added
Karar Hashmi demanded that the concerned officials must take note of the grievance and issue necessary directions in this regard.
