1. Dodarhama company of 24 Rashtriya Rifles under the aegis of Manasbal Sector today commemorate women hockey team feat in Tokyo Olympics on this occasion got an opportunity to conduct a friendly hockey match between national U14 girls team under khelo India campaign and our J&K girls team. The aim of this game was to give them an exposure to compete with National team and get an opportunity to learn the skills and fruitful knowledge from there Dronacharya awardee coach Sh Baldev Singh.
2. Over the course of the game , the local girls displayed a deep love for the game and played with unmatched zeal. Their sportsmanship was exemplary and skill was equally commendable. The match was followed by a brief highlight on the importance and growth of Hockey in our country and the contribution of Major Dhyanchand in India’s Hockey and Sport arena.
3. Celebration of events like this shed a reassuring light on the harmonious relations between the awaam & jawaan in the area while drawing them towards the national mainstream and important personalities of our country.
