On the occasion of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav and during the third phase of distribution under Mumkin scheme, Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Inder Jeet handed over eight keys to unemployed youths of subsidized small commercial Vehicles( load carriers) among eight eligible beneficiaries in presence of ADDC Abdul Satar, CEO Tourism Dr. Tanveer Ahmed Khan, Assistant Director, Employment, Abid Hussain Shah, representative of Lead Bank Office , Cluster head of jammu and kashmir bank, representatives of Ashoka Leyland, Mahindra,TATA besides other concerned officers and officials here in function of distribution held at premises of DC office Poonch.
On the occasion, Deputy Commissioner said that government is committed to provide gainful employment opportunities to unemployed youth in dignified manner & Mumkin scheme is an opportunity for the youth who are interested in transport activities to encash their livelihood under the scheme.
He appealed the unemployed youths fallen in the category to enroll themselves and take the benefits.
He further added that these mini commercial vehicles will enable our youth between the ages of 18 to 35 to contribute to economic growth of the district Poonch.
