Pertinenly, the Union was formed for the removal of New Pension
Scheme(NPS) and restoration of Old Pension Scheme( OPS) in
favour of NPS emplyoees.

A single page representation filed before DC by NPS union, a copy of which lies with this news agency reads,”With profound respect and humble submission that we are the
employees of different departments want to draw your kind attention and
sympathetic consideration towards the scraping of New Pension Scheme (NPS).”

In its representation the Union sought Implementation of Old Pension Scheme instead of NPS in favour of

“Same benefits should be given to the NPS employees who were appointed after 2010 as given to the employees appointed before 2010. At the verge of retirement Old pension Scheme (OPS) employees got the amount with interest on amount deducted from their salary moreover in NPS (New Pension Scheme) such type of provision is not applicable.”

to others Union territories like Delhi, Chandigarh etc. We therefore request to your humble submission for representing our case to
higher authorities for implementing old pension scheme, removal of NPS scheme and revised pay grade of Jammu and Kashmir UT as same to other UTs in the favour of all Jammu and Kashmir UT employees. We shall be highly thankful to your goodself for this act of kindness and
