Choosing a perfect venue with the fountain at the lake, mountains at the bay and lush green lawns serving as natural carpet, Dramatics Club, Safapora came alive after a gap of many years to organize a splendid evening with various artist groups presenting a message of peace and harmony and aiming to spread happiness . The event comprised of art, drama, folk songs and Kashmir cultural event.
The event witnessed large gathering of locals from all age groups cheering up the participants. Approximately 400 locals witnessed the event and showered applauses for the artistic work covering wide display of art forms.
Elderly people reminisced olden days and cherished the visible winds of change in the valley which were the harbinger of lasting peace and moderate societal outlook as prevailing earlier prior to Pakistan’s nefarious intervention in Kashmiri affairs.
Local sarpanchs recommended that such events will inspire the youth to move away from radicalized ideologies and need to be conducted regularly. The gathering terminated at a happy note and loads of pleasant memories.
