An old vintage 120 mm Mortar Bomb was found at Chorwan Village by the locals today who immediately informed the Army.
The QRT of Army rushed to the scene and cordoned off the Area.
Engineer detachment of the Brigade arrived at the scene later and destroyed the Bomb by carrying it away to a safe distance. A major incident was thus averted.
