1. As part of Kargil Vijay Diwas Celebrations, the Army Camp, Langate in coordination with Municipal Committee, Langate organised a Cycle Rally of 05 Km on Batgund-Talwari Road wherein a total of 85 local youth aged 15 to 20 years actively participated; which was followed by Cultural Events conducted at Army Camp, Langate. A total of 220 including Civil Dignitaries, Local Populace, Youth & Children attended the event.
2. The events were organised with the aim to highlight the courage & valour of Indian Army in defeating the adversary & instill patriotism amongst the local youth.
3. During the Cultural Events, local youth performed patriotic group songs including dances; thereby displaying love for the motherland. A Martial Arts Demonstration was given by students from Shahbaz Martial Arts Academy, Batgund. On completion of events, all participants were felicitated by Commander, Rajwar Sector and Civil Dignitaries.
4. The local populace along with the opinion makers of the area expressed their gratitude and thanked Army for organising the event.
