In order to equip and inculcate the essential skills for employment ,work and enterpreneurship among the youth ,department of zoology and UGC – NSQF Skilled department under the patronage of principal Dr.Shafqat Hussain Rafiqui and headship of Dr.Ajaz Ahmed Wani organises the painting competation among the students enrolled for the UGC – NSQF certificate courses from poultry ,dairy and apiculture streams.
In the competation 35 students participated whereas Miss Sandya Sharma, Anjum kousar from dairy farming and Nafina Anjum from Poultry farming got the Ist,2nd and 3rd position respectively.The online event was organised and adjudged by Dr.Abrar Dev and Dr.Uzma Sherish from dairy and Poultry department. It is pertinent to mention here that three certificate courses viz poultry, dairy and apiculture were managed by department of zoology from UGC in 2020 which is ist of its kind in jammu division colleges and such courses will definately boost the morale of youth towards skill development in Jammu and Kashmir in general and in Chenab region in particular.
The programme was co ordinated by Dr.Munish kumar and prof.Imteyaz Ahmed.
