To promulgate awareness about the prevailing lifestyle diseases amongst the locals and to provide necessary medical care, a medical camp was organised by Manasbal Army Camp at the remote village of Asham, in collaboration with support staff from the local PHC. The camp witnessed an overwhelming participation of more than 300 people, even after the heavy rains and inclement weather to include ladies, children and elders who were suffering from a variety of mild to severe ailments. The locals had displayed a forthcoming response in averting the poor weather conditions, and whole heartedly took participation in the event, making it a huge success.
The locals were highly appreciative and saluted the efforts made by the troops.
