GANDERBAL, JULY 10: District Development Commissioner, Ganderbal Krittika Jyotsna today Chaired a meeting of District and Sectoral Officers and reviewed the progress under District Capex Budget here at Mini Secretariat Ganderbal.
The meeting discussed detailed proposal under the District Capex Plan, 2021-22 including physical status of projects targeted for completion in the current fiscal, and progress of works under Centrally Sponsored Schemes.
At the outset, CPO informed that Rs 183 crore plan has been approved which include Rs 41 crore under area development besides works approved under various District Sector Schemes, NABARD and Centrally Sponsored Schemes.
The meeting was further informed that against approved plan 50 percent fund authorization has been received form the Finance Department for which the DDC directed the funds shall be released to the concerned departments in time bound manner as per the guidelines of Finance Department.
The DDC sought details about the approved works in last and current financial year and was informed that under regular schemes 146 works are approved which include ongoing and new works besides 1452 works of PRIs, 111 works of BDCs and 543 works of DDCs. The meeting was informed that estimation and feasibility of all works is being checked and would be substantially authorized.

She further directed all the executing agencies to take up the new projects/schemes for execution only after the said scheme/project are free from encumbrances, having administrative approval, technical sanction and provision for funds.
Among others, the meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer, Irfan Giri, Assistant Commissioner Development, Bilal Mukhtar, Assistant Commissioner Panchayat, Xen R&B, Jal Shakti and other concerned.
