Srinagar on 30 Jun 2021. Major General Ranjan Mahajan, SM, Additional
Director General, NCC Directorate Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh visited North Kashmir
today after interacting with Officers, Staff and Cadets at NCC Group HQ, Srinagar
yesterday.
A major functions was organised by 3 J&K Bn NCC, Baramulla today at GDC,
Kupwara where he interacted with 200 cadets and staff. In his address, the General
Officer emphasized upon the cadets to follow the NCC motto of "Unity and discipline" in
their lives. He also encouraged them to take part in all kinds of NCC activities and
contribute towards the progress & prosperity of their own areas and Country as a whole.
He assured them that for the benefit of Border Area Cadets of Dabur, Keren, Machail
and Kupwara, Special Camps will be held in these areas shortly.
Additional Director General also visited Machail and Z Gali and interacted with
newly enrolled cadets under Border Area Expansion Scheme. The cadets displayed
impressive March Past with full enthusiasm.
A number of important Civil and Military dignitaries were also present during the
occasion.
