Police Station Dooru recieved a specific information from reliable sources regarding drug Peddling at Mandipora Dooru. Police Party from Police Station Dooru headed by SHO P/S Dooru and Executive Magistrate concerned swiftly swung into action upon this information and raided on the residential house of one namely Ashaq Hussain Ganie S/O Gh. Nabi Ganie resident of Mandipora Dooru and during search of the house 40 KG’s of Poppy Straw (Fukki) was recovered from the said house. Two drug peddlers namely Ashaq Hussin Ganie S/O Gh. Nabi Ganie resident of Mandipora Dooru and Kursheed Ahmad Bhat S/O Mohd Amin Bhat resident of Arabal Dooru was arrested on spot.
In this regard case FIR No. 66/2021under relevant sections of the law was registered in Police Station Dooru and further investigation into the matter has been taken up.
