Vaccination drive for 18-44 years age group kick-starts at Doda

Doda, June 15:
The District Administration Doda today kick started vaccination drive for persons of age group from 18-44 years.

The process commenced smoothly at all the 06 special vaccination sites established across the district to vaccinate the beneficiaries. The centers were established at accessible destinations so that beneficiaries could easily approach these centers and get vaccinated.

Meanwhile, Chief Medical Officer Doda, Dr Yaqoob Mir today inspected vaccination site namely Boys Hr Sec School Doda and took stock of the vaccination process. He urged the eligible beneficiaries especially vulnerable groups to get vaccinated at an earliest.

He added that more than 71 percent of the population above the age of 45 years was already vaccinated and process of vaccinating the rest persons of this age group is going on at war footing.

It has been given out by the CMO that many high risk beneficiaries which includes shopkeepers, media persons, barbers, lawyers etc also actively participated in the vaccination drive today.

He also stated that adherence to SOPs is very vital at this juncture and people shall stick to SOPs to stop spread of this virus.
