Srinagar, June 5: Dal dwellers Saturday accused Executive Engineer Lake Division 1st of callous attitude saying that said official never bothers to listen to them or address their grievances.
“From past two years, we have been suffering because of the Executive Engineer Lake Division 1st. This official is more interested in tendering process than to resolve the problems of Dal dwellers,” they told news agency Kashmir News Trust.
They said from past one year, they have been approaching him about a drain at Panchkarwari Colony, but not only he avoids people but also misleads his superiors.
“He only listens to his Orderly who is there from past several years. We are facing multiple problems,” they said.
“He is never interested in addressing the grievances of the people. We appeal Lieutenant Governor and Chief Secretary to depute some other official who will listen to them, address their problems and treat them with respect,” the Dal dwellers said. (KNT)
