To discuss the modalities for the formulation of developmental plan under District Capex Budget 2021-2022, District Development Council Chairperson Doda Sh Dhananter Singh Kotwal alongwith Vice Chairperson Sangeeta Rani Bhagat today chaired a meeting of District Dev. Council and concerned District officers here at conference Hall of DC Office Complex Doda.

Additional District Development Commissioner Doda Mohd Hanief Malik who is also the CEO of the District Development Council, DDC members, BDC Chairpersons, CPO Doda, ACD Doda, Assistant Commissioner Panchayat Doda, besides other District officers,and XEns remained present in the meeting.

At the outset, the Additional District Development Commissioner Doda apprised the district dev. council members of the various modalities and guidelines for the formulation of the plan under the District Capex budget 2021-22 besides asked all the members to utilise the sanctioned grants judiciously under District Development plan and BDC plan in coordination with various departments on high priority sectors.

He informed the District Dev Council members about various areas of viable interest that shall be given special thurst while formulation of respective plans as per the guidelines issued by the Finance Department.

While speaking on the occasion DDC Chairperson urged all the DDC members and BDC Chairpersons and District officers to collectively coordinate each other in devising the plans on rational basis and without any bias to maintain the sanctity of the 3-tier system of Panchayati Raj Institution and also to ensure that the people at large shall be benefited at grass root level without overlapping the works.

He further asked the District Development Council members to personally supervise and monitor the pace and quality of the works to be undertaken during this financial year in their respective jurisdiction and also lay special stress on the execution and completion of the works already undertaken in previous year plan.

While focusing on the larger developmental projects, DDC chairperson stressed to ensure the pace of these works is not hampered and tangible results will be achieved in the implementation of all the schemes in the stipulated time period.

Meanwhile DDC Chairperson Doda asked all the BDC Chairpersons and Sarpanches to submit their respective plan within days by covering all the aspirations of the Council as well as people at grassroot level so that the District Development Paln under District Capex Budget 2021-22 shall be finalised and submitted to finance department for further course of action.
