A police official said that Ganderbal Police led by SHO Police Station Safapora along with Executive Magistrate Lar during enforcing restrictions in the Safapora area found 12 shopkeepers violating guidelines issued by the District Administration and took cognisance in the matter.

All the shops were sealed and case FIR No. 26/2021 U/S 188, 269, 270 / IPC has been registered in Police Station Safapora.

Ganderbal Police once again requests people to adhere to government guidelines/SOPs to contain further more spread of COVID-19 and not to venture out unnecessarily for the safety of all.
