Bandipora police seized hoarded domestic LPG Gas Cylinders and arrested a Person from Shadipora Sumbal who had hoarded the domestic LPG gas cylinders  to sell on exorbitant rates to general public, FIR registered

Bandipora 07 May 2021:Police station Sumbal received a specific information through reliable sources that at Shadipora Sumbal, one person namely Farooq Ahmad Wani S/O Gh Nabi Wani R/O Shadipora have hoarded domestic LPG Gas cylinders in his courtyard in order to sell them on demanded rates to general public.

Acting on the specific information, a police party of Police Station Sumbal led by SHO P/S Sumbal INSP. Mohammad Saleem under the supervision of SDPO Sumbal Shri Surinder Mohan- JKPS laid a raid and detained the person in question and during preliminary enquiry it was revealed that the accused was selling the domestic LPG gas cylinders to the general public of the area on exorbitant rates taking the advantage of lockdown.
