ISM distributes immunity booster among employees

BANDIPORA, APRIL 28: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Dr Owais Ahmad on Wednesday inaugurated the Ayush Consultation Centre cum First Aid Centre at Mini-Secretariat here.

It was given out that the centre shall give free ayush consultation at the Mini Secretariat besides providing free medicines especially immunity boosters amid covid-19 pandemic. Cupping therapy facility shall also be available at the centre.

On the occasion, the DC appreciated the ISM for establishing the  clinic at the mini secretariat for the convenience of the frontline workers who are working round the clock amid the pandemic.

       The ISM also distributed immunity booster medicines among the employees to boost the natural immunity of the field staff. The Medical Officer along with a team of doctors also created awareness among the employees about mode of consumption and dosage of these immune-boosting medicines.

Highlighting the role of immune boosters in Covid-19 pandemic, DC Bandipora said that enhancing the body’s natural defence system (immunity) plays an important role in maintaining optimum health.

Nodal Officer ISM Dr Iftikhar Gazi said besides distributing medicines the ISM doctors and paramedic staff are actively working shoulder to shoulder with the Department of Health and are effectively delivering their services amid covid19 pandemic.

The District Ayush Officer Dr Iftikhar and other senior officers of the district were present on the occasion.
