JAMMU APRIL 21- Senior National Conference leaders paid rich tribute to former minister and senior National Conference leader Mr Bodh Raj Bali on his 18th death anniversary, with speakers highlighting his immense contribution towards welfare of people and the development and progress of Jammu and Kashmir.
“A leader of par excellence, having a high degree of political and administrative acumen, Mr Bodh Raj Bali has left an indelible mark on the political horizon of Jammu and Kashmir”, Provincial President Mr Devender Singh Rana said in a message.
Mr Rana said that Mr Bali worked tirelessly for the upliftment of poor and down-trodden in different capacities. His contribution in strengthening National Conference at the grass roots level in the Jammu Province remains a high point of his political career, he said, adding that the veteran leader made a distinct mark by serving the people, which will serve as a source of inspiration for the coming generations.
Paying tributes to Mr Bali, State Secretary Mr Rattan Lal Gupta said that the departed leader worked with a sense of commitment.
“Mr Bali worked with both Sher-e-Kashmir Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah and Dr Farooq Abdullah and galvanized the party at all levels”, he added.
The other senior leaders dwelt upon various facets of his political career spanning decades. They described the late leader as a person of immense qualities who remained at the forefront in solving problems of the people.
