DDC Chairperson Gbl distributes relief material among fire victims at Waliwar DC assures full support to affected families

GANDERBAL, APRIL 20: The District Development Council Chairperson Ganderbal, Nuzhat Ishfaq  has expressed deep anguish over huge loss of property due to fire incident at Waliwar area of Ganderbal district in which 3 residential houses were gutted.

Tehsildar Lar and other officials of revenue Department accompanied the DDC Chairperson.

During the visit, Nuzhat Ishfaq expressed heartfelt solidarity and sympathy with the affected families. She also distributed rice, atta and other items of basic necessity among the affected families.

Meanwhile Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Krittika Jyotsna informed that necessary instructions are already given to Tehsildar Lar  for taking immediate measures for rehabilitation of affected families and providing immediate support to them.

On the occasion Tehsildar Lar informed that they are assessing the damage caused so that necessary financial support is provided to the families.

The District Administration has provided eight tents, 25 number of blankets, wheelchair and other items of basic day to day need to the affected families.
