April 15: Continuing its efforts to reach out to the poor and needy people, Budgam police distributed 40 water purifiers and food kits among the poor and needy families of Charar-i-Sharief area of Budgam.
SSP Budgam Shri Tahir Saleem-JKPS along with ASP Budgam & SDPO Charar-i-Sharief held a distribution function in Charar-e-Sharief area of district Budgam.
Ramadan food kits which include dates, vermicelli (sewaiyan), semolina (suji), dry fruits, etc and 40 water purifiers were distributed among poor and needy (BPL) families of Charar-i-Sharief.
On the occasion, SSP Budgam asserted that J&K Police is always ready to render helping hand to the people and assured the participants that more such reach-out programmes shall be carried out in the district.
