SHOPIAN, APRIL 13: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Shopian, Sachin Kumar Vaishya today reviewed the functioning of District Hospital Shopian here.

The DC on the occasion took a comprehensive review of the functioning of the health institution. He directed the health functionaries to work with zeal and leave no stone unturned in making the district hospital function smoothly in view of the spike in Covid-19 cases.

He stressed upon them to make sure that the vaccination process turns more successful and also directed to motivate more and more people to get themselves vaccinated at an earliest to avoid the virus.

The DC emphasised for working with dedication round the clock and stressed to maintain all the requisite SOPs in letter and spirit.

The CMO assured of achieving the required target of vaccination within the given time.

The DC directed the medical superintendent to fulfill all the codal formalities for the procurement of different items and preferably through GEM portal.

He instructed the Medical Superintendent, District Hospital to achieve tangible progress on all the issues in a time bound manner and share progress on a regular basis.

Among others present in the meeting were Chief Medical Officer, Dr.Ramesh Mala, Medical Superintendent, Dr. Mohammad Ismail, ADMO and others concerned.
