Kashmiri Pandit actor Satish Kaul, who had worked in 300 Punjabi and Hindi films died of Corona on Saturday in Ludhiana Punjab.
The 76 year old veteran actor became popular after he played the role of Lord Indra in the TV show Mahabharat.
He was the son of Mohan Lal Aima who made the famous song Bumro Bumro.
The actor worked in hundreds of films including Pyaar Toh Hona Hi Tha, Aunty No 1 and the TV show Vikram Aur Betaal.
Kaul moved to Punjab from Mumbai and started an acting school around 2011.
As per media reports, Kaul started his carrier with Dev Anand in Warrant movie but couldn’t succeed so moved to Punjabi films where he was a superstar. Later he also did some TV serials.
His death is a second loss for Kashmiris after Tariq Shah passed away last week.
