DC Gbl reviews status of ongoing vaccination drive

GANDERBAL, APRIL 05:  The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Krittika Jyotsna today chaired a meeting to review the status of ongoing Covid vaccination drive and other measures in the district.

During the meeting threadbare discussion was held on the status of ongoing vaccination drive in the District. The CMO briefed the meeting about the availability of vaccination vials, establishment of CVCs and progress on vaccination drive in the district.

The DC stressed upon the concerned officers/officials, including DMOs, BDOs and CDPOs to ensure mass awareness among common masses involving PRIs about importance of Covid vaccination and adherence of COVID protocols in mitigating the infection.

She exhorted upon the Chief Medical Officer to intensify the process of Covid-19 sampling and vaccination drive with special thrust on vulnerable groups and people over age of 45 years and asked the concerned not to show any laxity in this regard.

Among others, who attended the meeting included Additional Deputy Commissioner, Farooq Ahmad Baba, CMO, BMOs, BDOs, SDPOs and other concerned.
