Jammu, 27 Feb, Civil Defence jammu was organised one day awareness cum sanitation programme at Panchayat hakkal under the close supervision of Dy. S.P Shashi Thakur, Dy. Controller Civil Defence, Jammu.
Smt. Kunti Devi Sarpunch Hakkal alongwith (100) resident of the area attended the training Programme. The main aim of 05 days training programme is to facilitate the civilians with regard to preventive measure during disaster, history of Civil Defence and importance of First Aid (CPR, Chocking, and Emergency Methods), Fire Fighting etc. Basic life saving techniques during road accidents, natural or manmade disasters shall also be given to the staff by the Civil Defence instructors of RCDCC Jammu.
Smt. Kunti Devi Sarpunch Hakkal appreciated the initiative taken by the Civil Defence in enlightening the civilian with regard to the techniques for rescue as well as mitigation during any Disaster/eventuality.
During the occasion a sanitation drive was carried out in collaboration with the volunteers of the area and was asked to adopt the guidelines for preventive measures of Covid-19.
Apart from Civil Defence Instructors/officials of RCDCC, Jammu Sh. Paramjeet Kumar Chief Warden CD Jammu, Sh. R. Vijay Magotra Dy. Divisional Warden CD Jammu and Dr. Ramesh Kainth was also present on the occasion.
CD Certificates were also distributed among 46 CD Volunteers who had previously participated 05 days CD Training at Panchayat Hakkal.
