DC Gbl conducts surprise visit of Degree College, reviews its functioning

GANDERBAL, FEBRUARY 23: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Shafqat Iqbal today conducted a surprise visit of the Degree College Ganderbal and reviewed its functioning.

During the visit, the DC visited several classrooms and took feedback about the ongoing physical classes. He also interacted with the students and urged them to attend their classes regularly and shared valuable suggestions regarding excelling in life with the students.

The DC also interacted with the teaching faculty and stressed upon them to ensure smooth and hassle free continuation of class work.

Meanwhile, the DC also checked the attendance of the teaching/non-teaching staff and took a strong note against the absent employees and directed the Principal, Degree College to initiate action as per law against the unauthorized absent employee and send a report to the DC Office at an earliest.

He also urged for proper sanitation in and around the college, proper lighting in class rooms and cautioned everyone to follow all the safety covid measures religiously.
