Acting promptly on a HADR requisition from the Civil Administration ,Baramulla the MARCOS personnel of the Indian Navy swung into action and retrieved the body of Woman who had jumped into the reservoir of lower Jhelum on 8 Feb 20.
The efforts involved intensive diving operations by 10 divers at an average depth of 25 ft for 5 hours.The retrieval of the body provided much solace to the bereaved family and they thanked the armed forces for the help.
