DDC reviews status of on-going developmental projects at Kupwara

KUPWARA, JANUARY 30: District Development Commissioner (DDC), Kupwara, Imam Din today convened a meeting of concerned officers to review the status of various developmental projects targeted for completion by March 2021 in the district.

The meeting was informed that 20 projects at a cost of Rs.30.59 crores of various departments are set for completion by March this year. These projects include 09 projects of R&B department, 03 of Health, 02 of Education, 03 of PHE Jal Shakti, 02 of I&FC Jal Shakti and one project of Youth Services & Sports department.

The DDC stressed upon the concerned engineer to work on war footing basis to ensure completion of the projects within the given timeframe. He warned the concerned executing agencies about strict action if timelines are not followed properly.

Din said that he will take on the spot appraisal of each work of all the departments in coming days to ensure timely completion of the projects. He directed the concerned officers to submit the progress report and photographs of work done on a weekly basis to his office.

ADDC Kupwara, Mohammad Ashraf Bhat, JD Planning, CMO, CEO, YS&S Officer, Executive Engineers of R&B Division Kupwara and Handwara, Jal Shakti, SAMAGRA, and other concerned attended the meeting.
